What is sliding?
Sliding is a performance technique used by stunt performers and scare actors. It involves moving at high speed and sliding across the ground toward a person or object, often creating sparks and sound using specialized equipment
It is most commonly used in haunted attractions as a high-intensity scare tactic, but some performers also use it for choreographed tricks and shows.
Haunt sliding: Focused on scares, speed and proximity
Trick sliding: Focused on athletic maneuvers and performances
Sliding should always be performed with proper gear and in controlled environments.
Do I need experience to start sliding?
No experience is needed. Sliding is a skill that anyone can learn with the right equipment, guidance and practice. Our goal is to make sliding more accessible across Europe and help new sliders get started with confidence.
